Repository Policy
Crossroads strongly encourages authors to deposit their published work in open-access repositories to promote broad visibility, accessibility, and scholarly impact. Authors are permitted and encouraged to upload their post-publication manuscripts (also known as the Version of Record) in institutional repositories (e.g., university repositories), disciplinary archives (e.g., Zenodo, OASIS), personal websites, or academic profile platforms (e.g., Google Scholar, ResearchGate), immediately upon publication, without any embargo.
Authors are allowed to share the final published PDF as formatted and released by the journal, under the following conditions:
-
Full and proper citation to the original publication in Crossroads must be included.
-
A DOI or persistent link to the journal’s official version must be provided.
-
No modifications may be made to the content or formatting of the publisher’s version.
This repository policy is consistent with open access principles, helping to:
-
Accelerate the dissemination of research findings.
-
Promote academic collaboration and reuse.
-
Improve discoverability and citation of published articles.
Crossroads supports the green open access model, enabling authors to enhance the reach of their scholarship through responsible self-archiving practices in accordance with the journal’s licensing terms.
